In order to further develop the education of international students, Jiangsu University provides scholarship for international students getting registered for English-taught degree education at Jiangsu University.

Applicants: All master and PhD students and some bachelor* students
Application time: During admission
Scholarship Amount:

PhDs: Full tuition and accomodation 

Masters: 20,000 CNY on tuition every year

Bachelors*: 10,000 CNY on tuition in first year

Students from America & Europe: 10,000 CNY/year on tuition

- Accounting

- Chinese Linguistics and Literature

- Food Science and Engineering

- Mechanical Engineering

- Chemistry 

- Computer Science and Engg. (Quota: 5 Students) 

- Chemical Engineering (5 Students) 

- Pharmacy (5 Students) 

Terms and Conditions:
1.    Only applicable to SELF-FUNDED overseas students who take English-taught DEGREE programs ONLY.
2.    The JSU Presidential Scholarship to graduate students will be awarded once a year after annual assessment of the student’s performance.

3.    Transferring of major by bachelor students who availed JSU Presidential Scholarship in the first year, shall be approved only after the student compensates the scholarship amount back to the university.  

4.    Age Requirement: Bachelor: under 25 years; Master Students: under 35 years; PhD Students: under 40 years. 

5.     Not compatible to winners of other scholarships

 Jiangsu University (JSU) was founded by combining the former Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Teachers’ College with the approval of the Ministry of Education of China in August, 2001. It has now successfully developed to be a comprehensive teaching and research oriented university with strength of engineering. 

JSU has 24 schools offering 88 undergraduate programs in 10 academic fields. The university has 13 post-doctoral research stations, 9 primary (or first-level) disciplines for doctoral degrees, 42 doctoral programs, 35 primary academic principles offering master programs and 170 master programs, 26 fields for ME, 2 national key academic disciplines, and 1 national key academic discipline under cultivation. Five disciplines have been ranked as global top 1% in ESI, such as Engineering, Materials Science, Clinical Medicine, Chemistry and Agricultural Engineering. According to the Evaluations of China’s Universities in 2015 by China Academy of Management Science, JSU is ranked 55.
