2016 Yunnan-Thailand Education cooperation and exchange activity was held

Recently, hosted by Consulate General of Thailand in Kunming and Yunnan Department of Education, undertaken by Yunnan Minzu University, the 2016 Yunnan-Thailand Education Cooperation and Exchange Activity was held Yunnan Minzu University Lianhua Campus.

6 college representatives including president of Yunnan Minzu University and president assistant of Burapha University gave a speech in the opening ceremony and put forward suggestions on further exchange and mutual development.

In recent years, with strengthened cooperation and improvement of education quality, there’s an increasing number of Thailand students who choose to study in Yunnan. In 2015, the number of overseas students in 42 Yunnan universities from 88 foreign countries amounts to 12078, which ranks No. 11 in China and students who come from Thailand takes up one sixth.
