South China University of Technology has awarded “safe campus of the outstanding school” in Guangdong Province

Recently, South China University of Technology has been awarded “safe campus of the outstanding school” in Guangdong Province by Guangdong Provincial Education Department and Guandong

Provincial Public Security Bureau between 2012 and 2014. On May 25, the school Party Committee Deputy Secretary who named Zhengang Zhang, received a "Guangdong Province safe and civilized

school" of the plaque on behalf of the school in the Department of education of Guangdong Province.

In 2014, according to the investigation, 134 universities in Guangdong province participated in the appraisal activities, the excellent rate of the results was reached 26%, the estimate of performance

and statistics illustrated that SCUT achieved the top record.

During the evaluation, inspection teams have visited SCUT in several times to investigate, to understand the progress of the project of creating a safe campus university. The School Party Committee pays
