Devoted to Traditional Chinese Medicine –Community Practice of International Students

Sophomores of the International Education College, Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine began their 3-week clinical practice on June, 9.

　　International students from the United States, South Korea, Russia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan and, Australia were assigned to PengPu town community health service center, PengPuXincun community health service center, Linfen community health service center and a Chinese medical hospital in Zhabei district. 

　　Before community practice, teachers from the Social Science Department of Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine made professional instructions on humanity practice for these students such as objective and methods of investigation. In addition, these students all completed a report on comparative analysis of the Chinese community health service system and their domestic health service system. 

　　Students will further practice Chinese medicine, acupuncture and so on during the 3-week practice. This can help them better understand how Chinese medicine is practiced in Community Health Centers.
