Recommended by about 100 local media and voted by the public, China's top ten most beautiful towns have been officially declared.
They are Laitan Ancient Town in Hechuan Chongqing, Peitian Ancient Village in Fujian Province, Wuzhen in Zhejiang Province, Huangcheng Residence of Prime Minister in Shanxi Province, Wuyuan County in Shangrao of Jiangxi Province, Heshun in Yunnan Province, Zhuxian Town in Kaifeng County of Henan Province, Hongcun in An'hui Province, Guangfu Town in Jiangsu Province and Zhouzhuang in Jiangsu Province.
