During recent years, the friendship between China and Uzbekistan has deepened. Uzbekistan has enhanced its Chinese language education, and set up Chinese language departments or Chinese classes in Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Uzbekistan State University of World Languages, University of World Economy and Diplomacy, Samarkand State Institute of Foreign Languages and middle schools or primary schools in Uzbekistan. The "mandarin fever" bridges communication between China and Uzbekistan.
