New Comers of International Students Feel the Warmth at Home

 In the afternoon of April 14th, International College of Sanming University provides orientations for new international students. Directors of Foreign Students Program made an introduction of Fujian province, Sanming City, Sanming Universtiy, orientations for campus life and study, regulations for daily management and accommodation management respectively for new foreign students and presented to them the colorful life of former foreign students. “Every foreign student here has a one-to-one Chinese partner who helps us a lot,” said Mizan, one of the foreign students.

Sanming University, founded in May 2004, is an ordinary public institution for higher education, and a provincial university registered in the State Ministry of Education. The school is run under a management system in which provincial and municipal governments jointly sponsor the construction of the university while the municipality plays a major part. Sanming University has successfully passed undergraduate teaching assessment sponsored by National Ministry of Education in June, 2012.
