With her fast developing economy, China now boasts suprising strength in education. Nowadays, more and more people come to China as international students, accumulating specialized knowledge while experiencing the distinct culture in China. However, not many students can afford the heavy load of studying in China. Usually the high tuition fee and expensive accommodation stop their step. But don’t worry, with such a trend of international education, many schools in China spare no efforts to develop their international education and invest much on it. As a result, many scholarship programs help many students to realize their study dream in China.
Today, let me introduce some scholarship programs to those who want to study in China or those who missed the deadline for Chinese government scholarship as bonus for those who keep an eye on us CUECC.
I Degree program
1. Jiangsu province
Jiangsu is regarded as one of the most advanced cities in China. Many universities there provide scholarships for international students.
① Scholarship for Computer Science, International Economics and Trade and English
One of school in Jiangsu now provides scholarship for these majors of bachelor’s degree. The scholarship covers whole tuition fee of 15000rmb every year.
② Scholarship for some bachelor’s degrees, all master and doctorate degree
Another school in Jiangsu provides partial scholarship for bachelor and master study. For bachalor’s degree, the school provides scholarship for majors below:

- Chinese Linguistics and Literature
- Food Science and Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
The scholarship covers 10000 rmb of firstyear’s study. The scholarship provided for master’s degree covers15000 rmb of tuition fee every year. And for doctorate program, the scholarship covers the whole tuition fee.
③ Scholarship for some majors
Another school in Jiangsu Province provides different levels of scholarships for students studying some particular majorsin that school. The majors are as below:
Bachelor’s degree:
-Business Administration
-Electronic Information Engineering
-Computer Science and Technology
Master’s degree:
-Information and Communication Engineering
-Business Administration
Phd Degree:
-Information and Communication Engineering
About the scholarship, for the new students,all of them can get first level scholarship (tuition fee free for first year), the maining years: 50% of the students get tuition fee free scholarship, 30%students get around 75% tuition fee free scholarship, and 20% students get 50% tuition fee free scholarship.
2. Tianjin
Tianjin is a municipality directly under the central government, boasting advanced technology on aerospace and highly developed economy.
A top university in Tianjin now provides two levels scholarship for excellent students studying in that school. Thes cholarships provided are as below:
Bachelor’s degree:
-Environmental Engineering
-Chinese language and literature (students should pass HSK for full scholarship)
1st-class schoalrship: full schoalrship,its amount is 48000 rmb/year (covering all fees+some monthly allowance)
2cd-class schoalrship: partial scholarship,its amount is 36000rmb/year (covering tuition fee+ some monthly allowance)
Master’s degree:

1st-class schoalrship: full schoalrship,its amount is 58000 rmb/year (covering all fees+some monthly allowance)
2cd-class schoalrship: partialscholarship,its amount is 46000 rmb/year (covering tuition fee+ some monthlyallowance)
3. Shijiazhuang
Shijiazhuang is the capital city of Hebei province, which is a city full of beautiful sceneries and equipped with advanced life style.
A university in Shijiazhuang also provides scholarships for students with outstanding marks and performance. The majors with scholarships are as below:
Bachelor’ degree:
-Electrical and Electronics Engineering
-Computer Engineering
-Civil Engineering
The tuition fee for these majors are 17000 rmb/year, the schoalrship covers 5000 rmb of tuition fee every year (if the studentsbehave well).
Master’s degree:
-Business Administration
-Electrical Engineering
The tuition fee for these majors are 18000rmb/year, the scholarship covers 15000 rmb of tuition fee every year (if thestudents behave well).
4.Fujian
A very good university in Fujian province provides scholarships for many degrees of master and doctoral study of liberal art majors, which are emphasized and well-known in this university.
For this school, the scholarship covers all the tuition fee and accommodation fee.
5.Zhejiang
Is there any need for me to introduce this one of the most famous province in China with flourishing economy and beautiful scenery?
A top university in Zhejiang Province now provides scholarships for its doctorate students. The scholarship is 92800rmb/year for Aquaculture and Fishery Resources majors.
II Chinese Language program
1.Hunan
A top university in Hunan provides very good scholarship for Chinese language study!
The school provides 30000 rmb scholarshipfor Chinese language study covering the whole tuition fee and accommodation fee (tuition fee is 20000 rmb/ year, the accommodation is 50-60/day). The number of availables is 10 and is only open for one belt and one road countries.
The school also provides 15000 rmb scholarship for this program. The numer of availables is 20.
2.Jiangxi
①Half scholarship for Chinese language study
A very good university provides scholarshipfor Chinese language study there. The scholarship covers half of the tuition fee of language study. The tuition fee is 12000/year.
②6000 rmb scholarship for Chinese language study
Another school in Jiangxi Province also provides schoalrship for Chinese language study. The scholarship covers 6000 rmb of tuition fee. And the whole tuition fee is 13000 rmb/year (the students should pay the tuition fee first and the scholarship will be given to students when they finish their study).
