Vivid clay figurines exhibited in Nanjing
Huishan clay figurines are on display at Nanjing Museum, in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, February 15, 2014. The Huishan clay figurine, from Wuxi of Jiangsu province, has enjoyed a rich and long history as it is known for its high quality and delicate art work. It was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2006. Yu Xianglian and Wang Nanxian, two renowned masters of the craft from Wuxi, were named the representative inheritors of the folk art in 2007. [Photo/icpress]
